- The Northeast Asian Deciduous Forest is home to many foreign animals you won't be able to find in American deciduous forests including the Sumatran Rhinoceros (top left), Japanese Macaque (top center), Bengal Tiger (top right), Red-Crowned Crane (bottom left), Red Panda (bottom center), and King Cobra (bottom right).
- Many mammals in temperate deciduous forests hibernate as an adaptation to the biome's cold winters, going into a state of inactivity and metabolic slowdown to conserve energy.
- Unfortunately, due to human activities, deforestation, pollution, and global warming have all become threats to these creatures. All the animals displayed are currently labeled as endangered.
